DETAILS As the Sex Pistols' Steve Jones tore into television host Bill Grundy live on-air in 1976, he dragged punk unceremoniously into the mainstream. 44 years on, the explosive interview remains one of punk's most iconic moments. And the ideal inspiration for our second Sex Pistols collaboration. Here our classic 1461 shoe is printed all over with the headlines and outrage generated by the controversial broadcast, as well as iconic Sex Pistols motits. The 3-eye shoes are finished with black welt stitching and a white scripted neel loop. • Second off the DM's production line, the 1461 is a 3-eye shoe championed for its versatility • Backhand is full-grain leather that's comfortable and soft to the touch • Our Goodyear-welted lines are heat-sealed at 700°C and reinforced with our signature welt stitch • Built with core Dr. Martens DNA: grooved edges, an AirWair heel loop and visible welt stitching MATERIAL CONSTRUCTION Goodyear Welted - the upper and sole are heat-sealed and sewn together, providing more comfort and durability for years to come.
