AKG K702 Open-Back Headphones, Replaceable Cable

I have been using these for about 7 years.
They are lightweight, breathable, and have no latency with priority.
I believe these are excellent headphones in terms of sound quality.

The ear pads were replaced about 2 years ago and have been used a few times.
The cable has also been confirmed to be in working order.

As this is an older model, the head pad has an uneven surface, which can be painful to wear. I have attached a commercially available cushion with double-sided tape, which can be removed by peeling it off.
Due to age-related deterioration, the plastic parts supporting the head pad are degraded (please refer to the photos).
This does not affect the usability or sound quality, but please check in advance if you are concerned.

AKG K702 Open-Back Headphones

Open-back headphones that meticulously reproduce even delicate audio signals.

- Adopts a unique open-back structure developed through years of research and development, achieving exceptionally superior reproduction of mid-high frequencies. It meticulously renders each sound, reproducing even reverberations without omission.
- Employs a Flat Wire Voice Coil using ribbon-shaped wire, successfully reducing the size and weight of the voice coil. This achieves excellent transient characteristics, allowing for a swift response to even minute electrical signals. It also improves sensitivity by reducing the gap between the magnet and voice coil.
- The diaphragm utilizes a TWO-LAYER Diaphragm structure combining two types of materials and a unique Varimotion Technology that varies the thickness between the center and outer edges. This improves damping characteristics and suppresses breakup vibrations while maintaining high-frequency characteristics.
- The ergonomically designed, three-dimensionally shaped 3D Foam Ear Pads provide a gentle and secure fit. Made with smooth-touch velour material, they ensure comfort even during long listening sessions.
- Features a self-adjust function that automatically adjusts the headband length simply by wearing them.
- The cable is detachable and can be easily replaced.
