Original Potting Mix for Agave, Caudex, and Other Succulents - Extra Fine Grain (2-4mm)

This is an original potting mix blended using only the highest quality materials, carefully sifted to remove all fine particles.
With premium Sanbon-sen Akadama soil and Haruna volcanic pumice as the main components, this mix prioritizes drainage, making it ideal for succulents like Agave, Pachypodium, and Adenium.

Our special ingredient is Obsidian Perlite, a porous material created by firing and expanding obsidian. It enhances aeration within the pot, providing ample oxygen to the roots for excellent root development. Obsidian also has ion-exchange properties that can transform water into mineral-rich water, potentially preventing root rot.

Soil Components:
- Sanbon-sen Akadama Soil (Extra Fine Grain 2-4mm, sifted to remove fine particles)
  This exceptionally hard Akadama soil maintains its structure and aeration/drainage properties for extended periods without breaking down when watered.

- Haruna Volcanic Pumice (Fine Grain 3-6mm - washed, fired, and dried)
  Fired and dried for a sterile and clean product. Formulated with a focus on drainage.

- Hard Kanuma Soil (Fine Grain 2-3mm, sifted to remove fine particles)
  Uses hard Kanuma soil that is resistant to breakdown.

- Golden Potting Mix (Peat Pellets - selected peat pellets from Golden Potting Granular Soil for Flowers/Vegetables)
  Improves nutrient retention with peat. Its hard pellet form does not compromise aeration or drainage.

- Obsidian Perlite (Fine Grain 3-6mm, sifted to remove fine particles)
  Promotes robust root growth by ensuring sufficient oxygen supply to the roots. You'll notice a difference in the speed and quality of root development.

- Bamboo Charcoal (Bamboo Charcoal Field No. 2 size)
  Rich in minerals, it helps cultivate strong roots.

*This mix does not contain fertilizer. Please mix in a small amount of base fertilizer, such as Magamp K, as needed.
*Perlite and bamboo charcoal are lightweight materials and may be slightly difficult to mix evenly. Please mix thoroughly.
