Kanzaki Ayame (Iris unguicularis) - Bare Root Plant

I purchased this plant about five years ago, wanting a flower that would bloom in the garden during the cold winter. It blooms every year from January to February.
The flowers are not brightly colored.
I cannot recommend this to those who prefer glamorous flowers like roses.
For those who like wild plants and Japanese gardens, although this flower is native to regions like the Mediterranean, its dignified appearance will complement a Japanese-style garden.
The leaves are green year-round, and the plant is very hardy. I grow it not by the water, but at the edge of flower beds or in pots.
In the five years I've been growing it, insects have not eaten the leaves or flowers.
The leaves will be folded for shipping.
