【Beautiful condition within manufacturer's warranty】 Tohatsu 6 HP MFS6DS 12L Fuel Tank S Shaft

This is a listing for a Tohatsu MFS6DS outboard motor. It was used with a Portaboat, which is also being listed concurrently.

After performing the manufacturer-recommended break-in procedure over one day, the oil was changed, and it was used a few times in the sea. It comes equipped with a slow-speed control device, essential for drift fishing (this is made of reinforced plastic, which is less likely to scratch the boat than metal alternatives).

The warranty card, outboard motor cover, BMO outboard motor stand, oil, spare spark plugs, etc., are included. With the 10ft Portaboat (also listed concurrently), it achieved 23 km/h with one person and 16 km/h with two people. Fuel efficiency was excellent and power was sufficient; it consumed about 5-6 liters for a day of fishing with idling after 20 km of travel (a 2-stroke 8 horsepower engine would consume several liters more fuel and the oil mixing is troublesome, with only a few kilometers difference in top speed for one person, so this outboard motor was a better choice).

Priority will be given to local pickup, but shipping via Sagawa Express C.O.D. is also possible. When I shipped a Mercury 8 horsepower engine to Hokkaido, it cost around 7,000 yen, so shipping will likely cost a little less than 10,000 yen. Please consult with me in advance regarding shipping costs.

If you do not need the slow-speed control device, I can remove it, fill the screw holes with epoxy, and paint them black before delivery.
