Arts and Crafts Mission Slag Glass Lamp Converted from Wall Sconce

Compact Mission-style lamp with a dark metal frame and iridescent slag glass panels that shift between amber, pink, and soft green when lit. The glass has a textured, slightly mottled surface that diffuses the light into a warm, even glow.  Originally a wall sconce, this piece has been converted for tabletop use. The squared form, overhanging top, and rear plate reflect its original function, while the conversion makes it far more usable in everyday settings. Works well on a desk, shelf, or as a low ambient accent.  The glass carries most of the presence here. Unlit, it reads soft amber with subtle variation. Once on, the color deepens and the iridescence comes forward, giving it more depth than typical slag glass pieces in this size.  Vintage condition with age-appropriate wear.
